About Osteopathy Manual Practice
As defined by the Ontario Association of Manual Practitioners and Canadian College of Osteopathy:

Manual Osteopathy is a client-centred discipline that is based on understanding the relationship between structure and function in order to enhance the body’s inherent ability to heal. It relies on skilled manual therapeutic techniques to assess and treat the patient, guiding the natural self-healing properties of the human body.
Our Director Natan Gendelman is a Osteopathy Manual Practitioner and a graduate of the Canadian College of Osteopathy.
Manual Osteopathic Treatment Method includes the following techniques:
- Soft Tissue Manipulation
- Osteopathic Articular Technique
- Cranial Osteopathy
- Visceral Manipulation
At Health in Motion we successfully use Manual Osteopathy to promote management and recovery from a wide range of health conditions, including: arthritis, child torticollis (wry neck), breathing and digestive disorders, back and neck pain, migraine headaches, women disorders, scoliosis, inflammations, fibromyalgia, and to relieve patients suffering from chronic pain.
Our LIFE Program, aimed at teaching independence and improving daily functioning of children suffering from a variety of neurological conditions is also heavily based on traditional principles of manual osteopathy.
Based on a detailed assessment of your clinical history, our Osteopathy Manual Practitioner will assess your movements and then use gentle palpation to examine and monitor the source of your disorder. Once the root of the problem has been identified, our Osteopathy Manual Practitioner will work to restore your body’s natural ability to heal itself and return to good health.
